Time for some upgrades, and this one is big on the processing time. Testing on the development servers is done, and final tuning on the templates is set.
This upgrade will take a bit longer due to database modifications, it means rebuilding the entire threads database (700K threads). Testing on a cloned database (11M+ posts), took 3 hours, 10 minutes of raw processing time alone. I'm estimating 4-hours max downtime for the entire conversion and update.
Upgrade will start at midnight Pacific Time and be done by 4am the morning of 08 October 2006. This one will be worth it, and YES it looks like this will certainly fix some of the major problems we've had with the ailing search feature.
So, what are you to do during this maintenance time?

good luck texasCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
