How important are bookmarkers to the success of a site? Only sites that rely heavily on productive traffic or what.

if you started off softcore I think you'd get bookmarks... but starting hardcore then dropping to softcore is kinda stupid...why build your fanbase then change direction?!

Agreed. Changing the direction of any site will have a negative effect on vistors. It would be like all McDonalds all of a sudden selling Mexican food instead of burgers. My main site (softcore) has tons of bookmarkers (where "tons" = greater than 50%). As for how many of them come back every day for updates versus those that spend money, that's a question I can't answer.Comment
