What about if it is overwriting other people's links?Originally posted by WiredGuyWow, that's a serious allegation, can you take a screenshot of the overwriting of links that Zango does or did you uninstall it already? I do quite a few zango installs myself but I wouldn't promote this if its taking over my links.

All the more reason to come up with a 'webmaster's code of conduct'. All members agree to operate to minimum standards od decency. Anyone caught flouting the rules is fined big $$$.Originally posted by DildozerJesus you gotta be a fucking retard loser to promote this shit when you KNOW they are stealing from affiliates.
God i hate webmasters, 99% of them are retards with no vision whatsoever except for their immediate profitsComment

THe real issue is that Zango and others have become a large part of the business, I would estimate that probably 40-50% of all sales now are being done through spyware and scumware transactions (either redirects, changing cookies, sponsor codes, or by people "buying keywords" on these systems). I base this on what conversions were compares to what they are, and that good conversions are still had on smaller programs that might not be the target of these keyword theives, which is very revealing.
It is also a case of "windows XP is almost done". With Vista only a few months away, these people need to make their money now, because the next windows is going to take at least a few minutes to hack. I know of at least 10 friends who will be buying vista pretty much day 1 to get away from all the scumware and crap that they can't seem to entirely shake.
The day Vista hits the streets, conversions for normal webmasters will suddenly improve.
