Well, I'm done going over the threads at WHT. Most of them are "Dreamhost sucks" threads, but then I looked up my current host (
www.jaguarpc.com) and they also have a bunch of threads like that.
JPC has been nothing but excellent to me. The only reason I'm even considering moving is because of the price. I'm even considering sticking with them in a VPS for everything critical and pull images and other media from the Dreamhost account.
So yeah, as you can see, it seems like every single host out there has "this compnay sucks" threads all over the Internet. I'm not sure if this is representantive when the time to consider a host comes around.
