    My Windows 8 Conspiract Theory..

    1. Microsoft made the Chrome app so bad it's useless on purpose. This move would force people to use IE

    2. Microsoft created Windows 8 knowing that by default Internet Explorer would be placed right down in the bottom left corner where the start button used to be.
    Microsoft knew that people would auto click bottom left by accident which would open IE.

          Not sure about #1, but #2 makes sense. Didn't Microsoft try to force users to use IE a long time ago?

              Years ago I remember there always seemed to be conflicts whenever you put both IE and Netscape Navigator together on a system. It was as if there was some software coding on IE that would cause to it either slow down or halt entirely if you had Navigator installed.

              Just many years of anecdotal experience - no physical evidence to back this up.

                              You mean the Windows 8 tablets that can play and stream in Flash? That's one of the reasons I switched to a Windows 8 tablet - tired of hearing from Apple FanBois that Flash is out - been hearing that (and not watching on iPads) since 2006.
