I'm thinking about selling a site that I'm working on right now. Right now the Alexa ranking is 383,000. This is a general porn site that is a wordpress thumb TGP. It is a six letter .com. I have gotten about 600 to 700 backlinks for the site. I don't know the exact number off hand. I have used my network and linkspun to get these links. I haven't made much of an effort to monetize the site. While building the site I debated if the sole intent was just to build something to sell. That seems to be the case now. I will sell it now or keep building until I find a buyer.
