If they hack your advertisers server, they can promote messages via images on your site.
Or even by mistake ( i.e. a picture gets changed )
I hope you at least limit the image size on your end ? so someone cant buy an ad spot , swap the banner out for a 8000x8000 pixel picture and rake in the cash
yes - that's done. i'm not saying it's impossible to cheat me - but with my monitaring and cybercat's moinitaring and GFY's monitaring when someone does cheat they get caught QUICK and they pretty much end their ability to work in the TGP marketplace ever again as cybercat and GTS do talk to each other about people who cheat them.
so cheating on a TGP that uses cybercat or GTS is pretty much a one time career ending thing.

It could be also the page had different content and none checked the root domain. kinky <> beast. I buy banner spots from several sites and I'm sure none of the tech guys that put the page up ever check what i host on the root domain. It could be many things, but I'm confident he did not put the banner on purpose. Unless he has a hidden fetish (lol) I can tell you SD has enough advertisers not to market his site to webmasters he meets. Something most would do.Comment

i believe there is a fairly simple solution for glitches like this one.
use something like MD5 hashing on a file and check one in a while if md5 matches, if one bit changes there wont be a match.
with large scale sites its a must in my opinion. you can only host a banner but you need to be sure that landing page is in tact. I would let the advertisers host advertising media if they want. after you review new advertising and approve the content of the site and advertising media run md5 on banners, html file and all images withing that html. Then, run md5 every hour or so to check if md5 hash is the same if not, have the system alert you to check the content manually if there is a mismatch.
