Not your fault though, the Hun's audience is fairly saavy, i.e. they want movie galleries. If you don't offer the best to them, they don't take notice and join.

That's a good thought, but even his sponsor first page hits are low at 3.5k. A better gallery using movie clips or possibly even just better stills, should be in the 10k - 15k range to a sponsor's first page.

You get 10 to 15% CTRs on tpg traffic? You should sell your services, I think that's better than 99.9% of webmasters.

none - the hun gets revenue from pre-paid gallery placements on the top 15 spaces and banners. the rest of the galleries are free placements.

No, that CTR percentage is too high for me. I do around 7 to 9% consistently on a variety of TGPs. Right in that range. So in his case, if the gallery he used was improved versus what he submitted (cookie-cutter stills in a 1997 layout) then he'd have seen 7k to 10k in first page hits. Might have helped...

Again though it's likely not even his fault, it sounds like it's more a sponsor/CC processor issue to me. Even at just 3.5k in first page hits he should have seen 3 to 4 trial joins.

Took a long time to get there too...As Juicy said, it's all trial and error on galleries until you develop a true feel for what the TGP surfer is after. Once that's accomplished, you need bulletproof hosting and a sponsor that's legit with solid CC processing.

TGP is not that tough, but like anything else in this business it requires thousands of hours of research in order to do extremely well at it.
