And yet.... these same people who hate that so adamently refuse to believe that anything can ever be installed without there being spyware or trojans included. They're so blinded by the hate, that they refuse to believe there's a single piece of software out there that is actually legal... that actually has an "I accept" button... that might not be designed just to cause harm.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said that.
I'm not blind when it comes to spyware, but many others here obviously are.
And just because it has an "I accept" button doesn't make it right or legal. Most people don't have a clue what spyware is, they just realize something is wrong when their computer no longer functions or they're stuck in popup hell.
A lot of this stuff is targeted to kids and teenagers too... Does that make it ok if a 13 yr old who doesn't know any better clicks on "I accept" because he wants to play a game? Do you really think that people read pages and pages of TOS to see what they're getting? There's a reason that these companies make the text font really small, or have several pages of TOS, because they know damn well that people won't take the time to read it.
Surfers have some liability in all of this, but adware companies exploit the internet as much as they can.
