tek, you gave her extra money for an obscure reason and then acted like a jerk when she didn't catch on immediately. Who goes out of their way to get $5.06 back? Do you have onedollarbillaphobia or something? If you wanted a $5 back, why not give her $10.94? You said yourself you sometimes pay with a $5 and some change. Why not give her the change and avoid the confusion.
This girl probably sees 200 people/day who just fork over the $10 and take their change but you expect her to be ready for the weirdo who's passing out extra $1s?
