You can check your balance, transfer funds, reload your account, even see your up-to-the minute parameters/limits all with your cell phone.

You just send an SMS message and get a response back on your mobile phone.

For example, to check your balance you would send the following message:
B (then your pin number)

If you wanted to send $5.95 to [email protected], you would send the following message: (T for transfer)
T janedoe 5.95 (Pin number)

There's even a java app you can download onto your java/web enabled phone that makes it super easy. Let me know if you want that.

The feature should work for anyone with SMS capability.

ePassporte doesn't charge anything for the service, however, some mobile carriers will charge you per SMS message. Also, depending on the carrier, SMS messages aren't always instant so foreign carriers may not work as well as U.S. but, hey, test it and see.

If you have a web/java enabled phone, you can download an application to your phone which may be better for some carriers than SMS. I use it. I love it. I wish my bank did that!
