    Today is a sad day

    ...for me. I think of those comrades in arms...that I personally served with...that are no longer with the living. Some of them have been lost during this current conflict...and some of their sons have been lost during this current conflict.

    The most beautiful song ever written is the Star Spangled Banner and the saddest song is Taps. Belief in the first breeds the latter. Both bring tears to my eyes...whenever I hear them.

    I think I will get smashed today.
