    Memorial Day - Just Do It!

    Remember - Let's nor forget - We are at War, Many people have served and given their lives, many still do

    My Grandfather - World War 2
    My Father In Law - Korea/Vietnam
    My ExHusband - Vietnam
    Michael - Serving in Afganistan right now
    2 Reservist Webmasters from the board here - Serving in Iraq right now
    My neighbors son - 19 - died in the Veterans Hospital 2 days ago from wounds he received in combat in Iraq

    Iraq until today
    Over 1657 MilitaryDead
    1 MIA
    12348 Military Wounded

    Bosnia

    Somalia

    Vietnam Conflict (Vietnam never was a War)
    58209 Military Dead
    1845 MIA (Missing in Action)
    153303 Wounded

    Korea

    World War 2

    Partying since '96 and not going anywhere Anna's Dorm

    Steffie, you are so right. I haven't lost any friends or family in wars, but I sure have had many who have served and are serving our country in the military who have returned wounded.

    What we should be doing is building up our VA medical system instead of tearing it down, brick by brick. Our military deserves the best.

                if you think about it, they killed themselves. they joined the armed forces by choice (excluding the WWII and Vietnam soldiers because of a draft). I feel no sorrow for the people who have joined the armed forces and died.

                dont even jump on me for being unconsiderate. my grandfather was in WWII but lived and I used to live on an amry base in Germany for 3 years.
