A friend of mine got beat up this weekend

A group of guys were beating someone up, he said something about it, they beat him up. One of the guys kept kicking him in the head even when he was down. Hundreds of people were around, nobody did anything.

Stuff like that makes me sick

Netherlands. He's ok, just a concussion and some minor stuff.

Two of the guys that did it got arrested, including the one who kicked him in the head, who was (what else?) in the military and now hopefully will see his career come to a swift end.

Usually if I see a fight happening and someone is really beating up someone badly, I can't just keep walking. I'm not a roughian at all, but I get physically excited, my heartrate increases, I get an overboost of adreneline. That got me into big trouble once.

There's something wrong with most people though... I once saw someone fall down some stairs at a train station, and there was actually blood gushing from his head, but I was the only one who helped him and called an ambulance... dozens of people walked by without doing anything.

Damn, since a couple of these shitty things have been happening lately the gouvernement decided to have some commercials running to call the coppers etc.
I guess the commercials in holland aint working.....
