    think im gonna grab a 20d

    been so long debating if i really need it, but i was in bestbuy and for once they actually had a functioning model. MAN that thing is a beauty! fast as lightning and smooth as can be.

    now the model i used did not have a CF card, could that be why it was shooting so fast? I mean doesnt it need time to write to the card??

    Also, is there anything newer/better in same price range?

    This guy at the bestbuy said that the new EOS rebel was way faster than the 20d or d70, but he did not have a working model. any coments?

      the only thing im worried about, isnt it kind of a drag to carry a full body camera around? or maybe you get used to it?

      cant imagine walking around disney and going on rides and shit, while lugging that thing around.

          Thats why I keep two cams. One for snapshots and one for taking really nice pics. I personally use the Canon Powershot A80 for my snapshot camera. Got it a while back though so I am sure there is alot better. I mean you don't need anything like a full-body/SLR camera to take pictures while at a theme park or even on vacation.

                  guess thats true, i have a few pocket cameras also.

                  was also thinking how id like to take it to 2 weddings i have coming up, i wonder if its a risk to leave it laying around on a table somewhere while im off dancing ...

                  which leads to a possible stupid fucking question, is an item like this insurable against theft?

                          I love my 20d, there really isnt any other that even comes close to this camera. Its lightning fast and takes awesome pics. I agree with the other guys on this post keep 2 cameras. You will love the 20d

                              The 20d is fantastic, i love it, it takes the best pictres, the only problem was the canon software it is shit, but i found some really good software to download my pics.
