Bad Timing!
I don't get it! What's wrong with some sponsors?
I just got an email from one of the toy store I use on my sites to say that they are revamping their affiliate program and we'll need to change all of our links soon. I have hundreds of them all over the place across several sites! This is the 3rd one in the last 2 days alone. At least I have to give them credit for letting their affiliates know because the other two didn't.
I am very angry with Hustler right now. It changed from FlyntDigital to HustlerCash overnight without advising their webmasters. I just checked many of my links and no wonder I have no sales, many lead to a MEMBERS LOG IN page, but nowhere to sign up for the program! Some others don't even load at all!
And then MaxCash that is now offering everything for free. At least all those links are going to available pages where people can sign up. If it had been just that one it wouldn't be so bad.
With those 3 programs alone it's going to take me several days to change all the links, rephrase everything, delete old banners for sites that no longer exist, fetch new ones... ARGHHHH! As if that's all I had to do - fix existing sites!
Couldn't this have been done in the summer when traffic and sales were down? Why wait until now to do this when everything picks up again?? And what's wrong with communicating with webmasters to at least let them know what's coming??
