I have a friend that has 400 acres of forest land in California...it is very isolated...it requires a 4x4 to get to it. You enter the woods from one side and I will enter from the other side. An AVS site, that is the first I've heard of anyone else even hint that he is in the industry. My apologies for calling him a surfer. When the search was working, I had a fun few minutes reading his first posts. The only thing I saw was him spamming some of the old timers with a 6 digit casino refferal code. He wasn't claiming to be the owner and he damn sure wasn't claiming to be in the industry at that time.

The truth is that rich is a very good contrast to some of the successful people I have met in the industry. My registration date is somewhat misleading. I havn't been serious (full time) in this industry until somewhat recently. I aways dabbled here and there but not enough to start relationships with people in the industry.

Since I made the move to full time, I have had the pleasure of getting advice from some extremely helpful, knowledgable, and succussful people in the industry. It is amazing to me that some people will go out of their way to help a stranger and answer stupid questions for nothing in return.

I've found that some of the very quite and ordinary names on gfy are some of the most successful people in the industry. My ICQ list might not be the best in the industry, but it is gold to me.

I show my respect to alot of people that I deal with, I think you would have a hard time finding someone on my icq list that would say I havn't show them respect. I'm smart enough to return respect to those who have earned it.

I'm technically a rookie in this industry, but I decided that doesn't mean I have to take shit from cooky characters on gfy. I'm wasn't born on this earth the day I registered on gfy.

I know of a few that do quite well for themselves that do not post on GFY...or anyother board...though they do read the boards from time to time.

HA, HA, yea, when I was younger I always figured I would screw up and get into a fight with one of those 5'2" golden gloves guys and get hit in the face 10 times before I knew I was actually in a fight.

Years later I met a guy just like that and heard some stories. Little guy, but I went in his office and he had a picture of himself with sugar ray lenord. He told me a story about some dude screwing with him a bar one night because he was little.

Most of them are so quick, you would never get your hands on them, which is, ironically, the best way to handle someone quicker than you.

Ohter than that, I dont think you have to be a martial arts expert to know that once you hit somone on the nose and then cut off their air, any spinning and pinning leverage choregraphy is not their first concern. Same reason why cops beat guys with their sticks while they have them on the ground, it distracts them from going for a weapon.

I"m probably not the strongest guy in the world, but I believe if, properly motivated, and I have my hands on someone, they would have a hard time moving me into a position I didn't want to be moved into.

Note: I'm not calling out martial arts experts, I'm just talking about real life situations where 99.99999% of the time, the guy fucking with my is not a 2nd year martials arts student. I would never pick a fight with the guys from the ultmate fighting challenge.
