    What impact do you think the Fast Food strikes will have on the Economy?

    I posted a thread here earlier regarding people who want the minimum wage for fastfood workers raised to $15 to $30 per hour. Well, fastfood strikes are happening now. What impact do you think this will all have? http://www.latimes.com/business/mone...,5191267.story

              I would imagine most fast food workers live paycheck to paycheck so they won't be able to afford to strike for very long.

                          I find it funny as hell. More people in the US that want something for nothing. An interview I read about this was, the woman said - "I have been working at McDonald's for a year, I have 3 kids to feed and only make $7.15 an hour."

                          Uhh, who's fault is it you had 3 kids and couldn't afford it? Also, the article I read said $20 per hour, I don't think even they know what they want. They are doing the Country a favor by shutting down for a day.

                                                  McDonalds will lose about 1% of their income this year. That's about it. They'll still be rich as fuck.

                                                                                              Fast food isn't a career it's a job for a teen or an older person who needs to supplement their social security payment. If it's their career sounds like they fucked up and lacked motivation and drive to rise above slinging fries.
