Because AGA from Netpond is threatening me with a lawsuit, I now post this retraction:

AGA is a trustworthy individual. There is no reason not to trust him, and I'm sorry I gave that impression. He merely cancelled an escrow transaction, which was within his legal rights under Escrow.com's agreement. Any impression I gave of him being a dishonest scammer was incorrect and I'm sorry that I intimated this.

So too Slavik. He's obviously not central to this retraction, but the thread title gives the impression that Slavik is not trustworthy, which is totally not the case.

That said, the circumstances of the transaction remain the same, and I leave it to all of you whether or not to do business with AGA in the future.

From what I've read...I'd never do business with you. It sounded to me that you guys had a deal. Maybe he put a little pressure on you to close the deal but that's what sales people do. If I had a dollar for everytime a sales person put a little pressure on me to close the sale - I'd have a lot of fucking money. If you didn't like the pressure you should have been a man about it and just fucking told him that you didn't appreciate the pressure and that your pulling out of the deal. He didn't find out the deal was not going to happen until he heard back from the escrow people....was that the right way to handle the situation from your end? Why didn't you just tell him the truth.....that your selling it to someone else who offered you more money?

It appears that you had a verbal agreement with Dombuyer and didn't have enough intestinal fortitude to be a fair businessperson and took an exit that is available for weiners.

Doubt if your rep is ruined by Dombuyer expressing his feeling on GFY over the transaction, but I do have to wonder why you won't let it drop.

Since i wasted about 5 minutes of my life reading this drama i will waste 5 more and post what I think, since you asked Aga. I agree 100% with the poster above, DeanCapture.

To add to that though, Dombuyer over reacted. He should have stated what happened if he felt compelled to bitch about it here and not add the " scammer " and all that crap. Report what happened let everyone else decide what they think. Also, Slavic? did nothing wrong IMO and you attacked his shit bad. Your went on and on about repect and how it is different in domain buyer industry, etc. etc.. but it doesn't matter your contract (verbal agreeement, deal, whatever) was with Aga. Aga broke the deal and sold to Slavic, if he wanted to pay 50K more for the name, then he did you no wrong. period. Aga broke his word.
