    question on single model gay sites...

    I have this friend who is very burly and big. I would always joke around with him and tell him we should start a personal gay bear site with him on it.

    Just recently he contacted me and told me he wanted to actually do the website.

    He won't do hardcore shit, just maybe jack off on cam in different crazy outfits. (i can probably even get him to ride a tiny tricycle).

    Question is, is there a market for big gay bear single model sites?

    Anyone have any experience in this?

    Let me know the deal because if someone gives me some encouraging words of advice, I might jump right on this immediately and start designing the site.

      Probably yes.

      Gay bear. Never heard that term, but I get it from the "context clues" of your post. I think single gay sites are some the next big nuggets of gold on the horizon.

      To find specifically whether or not gay bear is viable as a salable product you might get a membership to some gay BBS such as bareback.com and post questions like that. I know the moderator there, and ironically enough he's a gay bear, lol.

      Southern Charms has a male model section too. If you wanted to start small you could start there. Be very careful about what you sign in terms of copyrights, etc.

              No problem.

              Take the time to find out what's hot. Spend some time on gay bulletin boards and find out what people like, you just might hit a sweet niche. Don't come right out and say you're starting a site though, people may be put off by a commercial lurker/poster. Just feel it out.

                  Personally, as a gay guy that runs a gay affiliate program, I don't think a single model bear site would perform well at all in the gay world. ESPECIALLY since he won't do hardcore.

                  I think if a single model bear site stood a chance, the guy would have to be a huge whore, and bring in a steady supply of fresh faces that he fucked / got fucked by.

                  There are some single model twink sites that do OK in the gay market, but nothing really special there either.

                  Anyway, I wish you the best of luck, but at the same time, would encourage you not to invest a lot into the project until you see what happens for yourself.

                          you should check that bearfilms.com and it's a very good example of it.
