I've always been IMPRESSED with the top of the line showbands at the Players Ball. I usually stick my nose in, but big loud parties arn't my scene. I hate not being able to talk to someone due to loud music. Some people love that though, and it is cool to see all the people in the pimped out costumes.
(actually I don't think it's a costume on some of the people there)

Never been, although I did approach D$ about some sponsorship and he is a great PR person. It is an "event" so I think sponsoring brings alot of exposure.

I listen a lot of rap/hiphop music and the Players Ball is legendary... I even saw it on TV a couple times. It's probably not everyones favorite party, but Players Ball is the only party I'd ever heard of before I even started in this business, which says quite a bit I think...

Wow, that's cool! Man, it's weird that an industry party gets mainstream exposure. People think I'm a PR guru because of it, but I swear, I never did one press release to the media. Sleazybear, I didn't mean it literally. LOL I meant like most parties. However, it seems like parties are more entertaining these days then back in the day. Back in the day, with exception to a few parties, most were just free drinks and snacks. Man, I think everyone who entertains webmasters should be applauded. It's costly, generous and takes time to prepare in most cases. I should give a Woody Award to everyone who threw a party at the show, they can all accept it together.
