I played it when it first came out. Wrote custom macros that used screen locations and pixel colors (for judging mana, health etc) and macro'd multiple skills all night long in my house. Was eventually a 6X GM, 100 Str 100 Int tank mage. I was also always red since day one. I used to pk naked in a red wizard's hat and when I showed up people would run screaming "red hat! red hat". I might have been one of the most famous PKs from the day. My house was packed to the brim with body parts.

    - Pk'd the first seer to try and run a quest on Napa Valley
    - Purple potion bombed Lord British's castle while he was announcing the expansion, crashing the entire zone.

I didn't play much on Napa Valley, I did in 2000-2001 a little, but just to place homes on it.

I played on Great Lakes primarily, started in beta up through the first 2 months of that whole trammel felucia renaissance bullshit. Went back about 2 years after that and played for another few months. That game is the reason I had to switch highschools(turns all your C's and D's into transfer credits so GPA starts over). I played around 7 hours a day while going to highschool and working part time at a grocery store... My insomniac merit badges were so dark people thought my eyes were inside of craters... God I want to play again.
