best to rub with a moist q-tip, only in that spot, power off and on the monitor while doing it. its a "liquid crystal display" and a dead pixel is dry. the gentle massage may fix it.

a stuck pixel is red/blue/green - for this the flashing color is suppose to work.. i find they mosty get re-stuck - google udpixel or jscreenfix
Interesting, thank you. The one that bothers me is red. I'll try the damp q-tip trick tonight
