I'm with you. Donating (as much as possible) because a kid needs very expensive surgery in another country asap is one thing but getting 20k+ while the surgery is covered by insurance is insane.

I totally understand how he needs money but is that up to us to pay for it? This is not about an insanely priced surgery anymore! This is stuff you try to fix with your family, friends, banks, etc.

Something we all have or had to do at one point in our life. At least most of us.
