    On the other hand and on a more serious note; it seems that most non-US webmaster who posted in this thread are not fully aware of the repercusions of the new 2257 rules. There is a simple concept in academia known as "Causes and Effects". We all know that most sponsors are US based, I would say around 70 to 80% at least. What do you think will happen if a majority of sponsors ceased to accept webmasters outside of the US?
    The logical answer would be to believe that most non-US webmasters would then sign up and promote non-US sponsors. But would those sponsors be able to fill the shoes of the US sponsors?

                                                                                                                                                                                    If it were my company, and I was buying content..which I have bought from you and Paul Markham in the past I would want to know that with 100% certainty that the guy who sold it to me is 100% compliant..you may very well be and I'm sure you are..however you are elsewhere, outside the arm of the US law that I HAVE to abide by..you don't. Buying from an American content provider would at least ensure in my mind that it is in his best interest to maintain impeccable records or risk jail time.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        yes you are right - its the question of trust.But its nothing new for me - I have always to deal with the fact that US people don't trust anybody outside US too much - specialy former Soviet union satelites.
                                                                                                                                                                                                        Anyway mostly its true that I drive better car , have larger house , make more money and at VERY FIRST I do far more honest biz then the most of those guys saying that they can't trust us just cause we are living in this location.
