It's aweome to hear that your son can be treated in Canada... it's so much stress to move them around, not to mention the cost. Not that him being in the hospital here will be cheap, you know there are incidental costs like parking, food and all those other things that add up when someone is in the hospital.

I understand that now NoCarrier's family does not have to pay a ridiculous amount to go to the US for surgery, but I doubt the donations they got were anywhere near what they needed for it regardless. You also have to consider though that there will be other costs involved, not EVERYTHING in Canada is free, and chances are NoCarrier and his wife will have to take time off work etc to be there for their son. Just because they aren't travelling for it doesn't mean a little bit of help in the monetary direction won't be needed or appreciated.

About the donations. People were extremely generous and we really appreciate it. And yes, it's going to be very useful for the next couple of months and yes we are going to need it as our financial status will be low.
