It's all about the sig views. If you post as 50th poster, your post is seen first on the second page. It keeps your name in people's heads aswell when they subconsciously register it over and over again thus possibly bringing you more business from people who are subconsciously compelled to contact you, even though they don't know why.
Or it's just a dumb thing that people do...
