At least I've raised about $20,000 for industry charities in the last two months, run a new but successful affiliate program, and have been working behind the scenes to help bridge the gap between the gay and straight sides of our industry.
Just because I don't sit on here all day bragging about how much money I make in this industry, or the major business deals I've done in the past (including NASDAQ acquisitions), doesn't mean I don't accomplish a lot of business on a daily basis with serious people that have something to bring to the table.
GFY is more than just a business outlet. It's also a news outlet, a social outlet, and a way for many to relieve business related stress. I see nothing wrong with that at all.
If anyone here has a stick up his ass, I think it's BVF more than it is Teh BoyAlley.
