31. What do you like to do when you go to Vegas? Favorite place to stay. Do you fly first class?
Shopping, shows, shopping? checking out restaurants (my favorite is Gallagher?s at the NYNY?ask for Flip)?.. oh and shopping! Vegas is a blast. I?m looking at the possibility of buying a condo there in the next couple of years.
My stay at the Wynn last week was okay except for the food (terrible). I?ll stick with the MGM Grand from now on.
I fly first class?period. Loads of fun taking 5 teenagers to Vegas flying first class on Alaska. We take up half the first class seats.Comment

PersianKitty: I noticed your main domains (persiankitty.com and pk.com) are at Network Solutions. Have you considered moving them to a more secure registrar? (NSI sucks, as I'm sure 99% of folks here would confirm) Since your domain names (and all their incoming links) are your primary asset, it might be wise to consolidate them at a single secure registrar (folks debate as to which registrar is best; mine are at Tucows/OpenSRS, but you can't go wrong with Moniker, Fabulous.com, AllDomains.com or a few of the other good ones). I'd also suggest renewing them all to 2014/2015, as they're all set to expire in 2005.
pkventures.com is at dotregistrar.com, so you'd want to include that one (and any others) when you consolidate, and make sure all the WHOIS is up to date and accurate (especially the admin email).I buy good domain names. Send lists to George (at) LOFFS.comComment

Enjoying this stroll down memory lane...
Before there was an internet (at least one that the public had access to), there were BBS systems, which were essentially privately run dial-up networks. I'm sure several people here started there on 9.6K or 14.4k dial-up.
The Bay Area (where I live) had a very progressive network of BBS operators (SYSOPS), that formed a wider network called NirvanaNet. The first BBS that I subscribed to was Burn This Flag (BTF), run by Zardoz.
Those were pretty heady days...lots of "banned" files shared, and anarchist banter. It was fun finding kindred spirits here and there.
With the advent of the internet, the BBS model sort of faded away. Lots of those people are around still, just doing different things.
I must have learned about PK sometime around the mid-90's through BTF. It was a favorite bookmark.
I spend a lot more time working than surfing these days, but it's still fun to go back and see where people who were pioneers in this biz are today.
Good to see that the Persian Kitty is still on the prowl and going strong.

Well there will always the ones wanting free access to pay sites. There have been ones threatening to kill me in my sleep if I don?t take the site down now. I get emails from people wanted to get into the industry. They figure I should know how to get them set up with a phone sex line, or where to sell their home movies or pictures.
Probably the funniest I?ve ever received was from a guy wanting to buy a camera that removes clothes from the people you take pictures of. Seems he?d seen a site where they showed two pictures?one with the person?s clothes on and one without (same exact pose).Comment

3 times. The worst for time and $$ was the Paducah school shooting case. Lawfirm varies based on the suit. Lewis has been good with contacts for that.

They tease about it, but I have no plans for it. Sad to say, but at their age, they don't have the drive or the discipline to work on their own.

I love glamour photography. Stephen is at the top of the list for that. There are many others that fall in the same category.....one that used to post here quite frequently.

Don't bow down to anyone. Stand on your own two feet with pride and independence. Have a good support system so that if you need help you can ask for it. No matter what you and your children come first beyond anyone.. even a man.
