    Notice of downtime

    okay.... this moving shit sucks and is now beginning to spiral into total chaos... (as usual)

    just got off the phone with RR, and as of now, it looks like cutoff is scheduled for the 27th of this month.... reconnect at the new place unfortunately can't be scheduled before the 7th of Dec.

    So..... as of this moment, it looks like I'll be cutoff from the Net from the 27th to the 7th. Part of this time will obviously be spent physically moving.... but I wanted to let everyone know in advance, because if I have you on the project list here and you're coming up, I need to have any urls, content, instructions, etc prior to the 27th of THIS month so I can continue to work on your stuff during the downtime... I won't be able to upload or show anything, (or even talk to you) but I can still work offline.... so...

    if you're someone that needs to get me something..... do it soon.

    Today has been nothing but madness here with all this moving, disconnecting, scheduling, arguing, calling, signing, blah blah fuckin' bleh.... shit, so I may as well finish the day out clearing this kinda stuff up....

    I swear.... I'm never fucking moving again after this..... (or at least not for a really long damn time....)

      dude, my inlaws can help you move. Call 'em up. They are 68 and 65 years old. But they can do something.

              we decided to hire some movers for the bulk of it.... we simply got too much shit to do it ourselves.....

              paying them by the hour, but I can't see any other way.

                                                  Cant you just get dialup for 2 weeks? When I visited Hawaii, i signed up with a Hawaiin ISP for a tourist account, it was like $4.95 a week.

                                                              not worth it.... most of the uploads I do are rather large... dialup would just be a pain in the ass at best. Better to just use the time for pure work, and do a mass upload after reconnect.

                                                              besides... I still don't know the situation on the phone....
                                                              they're somewhere on the list of people still left to call....

                                                                  My wife and I packed and prepped for just moving day for over a month. And sure enough it was chaos loading, moaving, and unpacking. Several, months later, we're still unpacking some of those boxes.

                                                                  Seriously AMP if you can be moved and totally unpacked. I MEAN EVERY BOX UNPACKED IN 2 WEEKS. I'll buy you beer all weekend in Vegas.

                                                                          you're gonna be buyin' ALOT of beer then bro..... cuz we'll be unpacked and set up by the end of the 1st if it fucking kills me.

                                                                          that gives us 4 days.... start to finish.

                                                                          and I'm gonna be taking photos of the whole thing, so, it'll be documented for proof later on.....


                                                                          (I still have boxes that we never opened from the move across the ocean... lol)

                                                                                      I have moved 3 times the last 18 months!!! Few things suck as much as moving. I'm not moving for a werry long time now. When I need to put into a home for old people I will consider it, as long as they have broadband there
