Reports like this generally repeat official Chinese news releases.
So a few Universities are demoing IPV6...Big deal. This protocol was set down and prototyped largely in the USA.
I spend a great deal of time in China...And I have no clue where the media back here gets these ideas about some sort of technological superiority there. You have nothing to worry about, move along.
