Q about mp3 copying

Hi all say i have a car mp3 player thats plays from the cd. Can i just burn the mp3s to the cd using xp or do i need to convert anything

if its an mp3 capable cd player then all you have to do is burn the mp3's in their mp3 format to a blank disk.

In my player, the folders are important.
I try to organize stuff by genre on "car cd's"
