Ha ha! You guys are such drama queens. There's no drama here.
I am however leaving Adult.com. The split is friendly on all sides. I've decided that it is time for me to strike out on my own and try to make my own way in the industry.
I've enjoyed my time at Adult.com and I've learned a ton from watching the way that Lensman conducts his business.
It is probably best if you need something from me that you get in touch with Eric, that way if it carries over after June 1st it won't get lost in the transition.
There are a few things that I would like to say about my time at adult.com, if you guys will indulge me for a moment.
I realize that the haters will say I'm just ball washing, but the haters will hate no matter what I do or say, so no sense worrying about them.
In my 3 years working for Lens I was never asked to do anything that would compromise my integrity or ethics as a developer or as a person.
There are a lot of shady people in this business, but Lens isn't one of them. He never asked me to do anything that would screw an affiliate or anyone for that matter and I'm proud of the fact that in a business where there are a lot of shady things happening he made the choice to be honest.
Lens also came through for me when I was dealing with some crazy personal/family/health issues that I won't get into on the board, I'm not sure he'll ever know just how much that meant to me and my family. He's a stand up guy.
To the crew at Adult.com: You guys are the awesome, and I wish you guys the best.
Hopefully we will be able to hook up at Cybernet in San Diego, or the next Webmaster Access show.
In conclusion:
Adult.com is a great company.
Lensman is a great guy.
After June 1st I'm moving along.
