Simple facts are:
He told us all that this would involve MASSIVE amounts of money being spent in Texas.
That's what suckered people into donating.
The story changed the following day to "Oh Thank God, we will be able to have him treated here, for FREE. Thank you for your donations, we'll use them to pay our electric bill".
