Honestly, I couldn't tell you, but I'm gearing up to protect myself and the webmasters I work with to provide what is ever necessary to stay compliant.

Presently we provide EVRYTHING a webmaster needs to stay in business. It's going to be up to them to keep THEIR house in order though.

Luckily the studios i work with on the DVD side of things are so anal about THEIR record keeping I'm sure to keep everything legal to the letter of the law and beyond.

been planing on a retro site for a year gotta make sure some revenue is coming in while this shit is sorted out. Now that we know the teeth of the law me and my lawyer can actually set a plan in stone.

Actually the pre-1995 content won't save your ass either.

If you "publish" that content after June 23, the content then falls under the jurisdiction of the new regulations.

So for instance a playboy issue from 1994 is exempt, however if playboy decides to reuse those photos in a new "compilation" issue later this year, then that new issue falls under the blanket of the new regs.

The same would apply to any websites/pages created after June 23 of this year, regardless of when the actual original photos were taken.

No if you use content from 1998 you need the docs. Content from before July 3rd 1995 it's not needed.
