My fiancé is a RN. She started out as a CNA and did her fare share of ass wiping. After that she was a LPN and still wiped ass. Now she is an RN and while I don't think she wipes ass now, she still has to do some disgusting things. It's tough work being a nurse of any kind (I hear about it almost every night) but she does love her job because she is helping people. If you are trying to be a nurse because they get paid good take the time and get your RN. You can't really advance much as a LPN.
Whatever you decide I wish you good luck. I'll stick to selling porn. I'm getting to the point where I can see quitting my "day job" is a possibility.
