    Mentos and diet coke.... HOW???

    How do you get the mentos INTO the diet coke AND CAP IT before it erupts? I wanna make those diet coke rockets.

    TheDirtyWhiteBoy says he can show me how to make a dirty cock rocket, but I don't think it's the same thing.

                  Do you put them in while they are still in the wrapper? I've seen them drop in and the coke shoots out instantly. I think that's the part that I'm not understanding.

                          get some toothpics and a tube ( you can use the mentos packet as a tube )

                          poke the toothpics into the mouth of the coke bottle below the lid blocking access to the bottle so you can place the tube with mentos on the toothpics , then just pull the toothpic out and the mentos will drop.. cap quick

                                      Thanks Brainiac. That's where I went to see it in action, but none of the 'thousands' explained HOW it was done. The only ones that show the action are the ones where they drop in and erupt instantly. NOT how to get them in and cap it before the eruption. Some erupt AS the mentos are going in, so there is almost NO time to cap the bottle. There MUST be another way to get the mentos into the bottle. If kids from the mid west can figure it out SURELY someone here on GFY can figure it out.

                                                          You put the mentos in a tube with a piece of paper on the bottom.. Align the tube to the nozzle of the diet coke.. then quietly remove the paper so the mentos can fall in and run like a motherfucker lol

                                                                      You have to leave the interior foil wrapper on the mentos if you want to drop it in and cap it again. Then to get the thing to blast off just give it a shake.

                                                                                          I saw one of the video clips where the guy chewed one mento up and stuck it inside the bottom of the bottle cap, then stuck another mento to the chewed up one and then screwed the cap on. That way, the cap was fully closed without the candy touching the soda. Once secure, he just shook it up.
