The Asian girl was cute, but not near enough to salvage a positive experience from the movie.

The only positive part was I got a sweet Miami Vice shotglass with my popcorn and soda combo.

I went to see it with a few friends and we were all expecting it to rock. Honestly, it sucked, I remember it as the worst movie of the year, and believe me, I watch quite a few movies.

The worst movie I've seen in quite some time. The only reason i sat through the whole thing was because a friend took me to see it in Gold Class and I figured he'd be offended had I walked out. Only found out afterwards that he was thinking about leaving also.

In a nutshell, the movie is a piss poor plot, poor action scenes and Colin Farrel doing his best Billy Ray Cyrus impersonation.

Hollywood is in a cycle of doing mediocre remakes with popular stars regardless of whether they fit the part (ie: Dukes of Hazard). Soon we'll be subjected to John Travolta as Edith Turnblad in the Hairspray remake.

I hope they get out of this cycle before ever bringing the oft delayed Gilligan's Island remake to the big screen or we'll be subjected to Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan as Ginger and Mary Ann and they will be portrayed as big ole hootchie sluts all over Jamie Foxx as the professer

The story sucked, Colin Farrel can't act. However i did like the way it was lensed. michael Mann is a pretty cutting edge director, some of the scenes i though were shot with allot of creativity, and cool point of view.
