You guys watch "America's Most Wanted"??? Tonight's show was absurd!

I'm watching this shit and there's a story about a serial child raper and molester from Brazil who finally, after a long stretch the cops finally pinched him. They put him in jail and some judge figured it would be good to let him out on house arrest????

WTF is wrong with this judge??? Dude waited 6 weeks, cut the monitoring device off his leg and is in the wind.

You wonder how shit like this happens and when all is said and done, a judge, for some dumbass reason known only to leprechauns and martians pulls some shit like this.

I urge everyone to go to the AMW website and keep an eye peeled for this scumbag and write the judge and tell her what an asshole she was for lettin' this shitheel escape.

Both branches of government, judicial and legislative need immediate overhaul. We're in the most dangerous time in human history and we need to make a safer environment.

I'm watching AMW and it's the end of Police Week and they say 153 cops died in line of duty last year. It seems like a small number but cops have extended families. Often a cop will be 'the' peacemaker for hundreds of families at a time. When one falls entire communities can fall apart.

Out here in LA there are some INSANE bastards running around or better yet driving around. They don't care if you're a citizen or a cop.

But in the case of this child abuser, the judge needs to be taken to task. Find out 'why' she did it so it won't happen again. I would think maybe she was bullshitted but when it comes to a piece of shit like this guy whose raped kids, how the fuck do you let him out?

If you ever get arrested for publishing porn or smoking pot or something else stupid, you better hope you get a judge with a heart and a brain.

It's great to want everyone who's arrested shot in the head before they get a trial, until that person is you. Many people arrested, even for child porn, are innocent. Ask any free speech lawyer you meet!

Look at people like Flynt who were thrown in jail years ago, the country could have used some judges with a bigger heart back then.

You do not want to live in a country with a bunch of extreme right wing judges who think that the police are always right and everyone who gets arrested is guilty.

If you do want to live in that country, Iran or Saudi Arabia are waiting.

if he's innocent why'd he cut off his monitor and run? any ideas? even after being convicted of crimes such as this judges let them run free and hurt more children.

I doubt either you or I know any more details of this case than what's posted here, but obviously you don't know your history. In this case, the judge may have done the wrong thing or he might have made the best decison with the information he had at the time. Was the guy ever convicted of anything?

Why don't you talk to Mike Jones about being accused of child porn? Do you think Jones should have been thrown in jail and left their to rot while waiting on trial? Do you think that everyone accused of child porn is guilty?

Do you have a real free speech lawyer for your adult company? If you do, ask him to tell you stories about people who have been arrested for totally false child sex related charges. If you lawyer can't tell you those stories, get a new lawyer.

If you don't have a lawyer to talk to, try searching Google for McMartin preschool.

It's easy to sit here and trash the judge for making a decision that didn't turn out to be right, but wait until you get accused of some crime and see how much you want the U.S. justice system to be the same as Saudi Arabia.

Just because someone is accused of a crime, doesn't mean they are guilty. That's the American way, for now.

What are your proposals? A complete police state? Why not just move to Saudi Arabia - no one who gets arrested is innocent, unless they know the king, then they are never guilty. Don't get caught smoking pot or looking at porn or you'll get life.

That's what the right wing is pushing for in America right now.

You do not want to live in a country run by right wing fundamentalists.

Yes, we know there are 3 branches of government. I for one had about 8 ancestors who signed the Declaration of Independence.

I was focusing on the legislative and judicial since this is in their realm.

                          That guy is pretty ugly.

How accurate is that article? Under the picture that says "Emanuel Veiga was arrested and convicted, but only placed on house arrest." while the rest of the article says that he was only picked out of a lineup by one person and they had no other evidence? They call him "accused" in some places, and "convicted" in others. It also says he was awaiting trial, not convicted, in one part.

In retrospect, the judge made a major mistake because he ran.

However, just because a judge makes a mistake, it doesn't mean we need to convert the U.S. judicial system to a "guilty until proven innocent" system.

There is way too much talk these days about turning the U.S. judicial system into some right wing controled religious fundamentalist system like what they have in many countries in the middle east.
