Well if I read and understand it right, you could get .50 for a gallery, and 1.00 for a tour sale, and if your gallery leads to your tour wouldnt that be 1.50 per sale?

When I had some byots at ARS and Epic Cash I was pulling in thousands of dollars a month, it was very much worth the effort to work with the sponsor on creating something good for use in the program..

Now rough math and average prices tell me the following.
Average price paid for a gallery template: 15.00
Average price paid for a tour by most: 400.00

So if one just makes galleries and they are any good at all, just takes 31 sign ups to be ahead in the game. Hell that is a frivolous number.

Sure your tour would have to do 41 sales to make you more, but come on. I have sent more than 41 sales myself to some very fucking crappy tours and I do not even have what is deemed a crap load of traffic.

Figure that then figure how many webmasters may use them and well I think it is a very good deal.

BTW does NATS or will it show must successfull tours, galleries etc to webmasters?

I'm sure we can show the best converting tours .. I know lots of guys that make their own galleries and tours and after using them for a bit make new ones ... now they can add those old ones to the system and let other affiliates generate funds with them and still make money off them .. it's a win ..win

What can you offer me that ARS isn't already offering? They're paying out $5 per sale on the tours and $2 per sale on the galleries. I think that this is a great tool for designers, but the rates you're paying out seem a bit low. I've got 1 tour in the ARS program that's closing in on 1000 sales. You can't beat getting paid $5k for one tour.

With that said, I have tours in all of the networks so you'll probably still get a few submissions from me to test the waters. But I'm not banking on it topping ARS'.

I'll hit you up in the next few days and have my guy get started on a tour or two with you.

IE: galleries must have a minimum # of pics,
pics must link to full size image on all thumbs,
full size image must be a minimum size and weight,
tours must be more than 1 page with custom join page,
tours and galleries are left unlinked or linked with a special code,
2257 link must be included,

or do the participants pretty much have free range to design and build as they please?

If using there own content they must present 2257's with the worlk, If they watnt to use our content, hit me up for a UN and PW to the site or sites you wanna design for.

For the Galleries between 13-18 pics is good

Everything can be kep unlinked because we have to add special link codes to the sites.

It's more like 401 sales. I think I'll give it a try anyway, but for now the gallery option seems more interesting than tours.

I always thought ARS was very smart when they did this, they had shitloads of tours, shitloads of galleries and people promoting their own tours and galleries to get more money per signup... However, if I'm not mistaken, they paid for the tours and galleries some money, like $200 or so per tour and 10 per gallery. That made sense, but when you need 400+ sales to be even I don't think it worth the effort (and let's agree a $400 tour usually means a newbie crappy tour which will make it a lot harder to get sales)

Of course, just MHO, maybe the designers find this attractive, or maybe this can be used as portfolio for some designers with no previous sites or things like that

yeah, I wasn't sure how much they paid for those BYOT, I just know they paid. However, between the crap they have gems, ARS makes me a couple thousands a week and we only promote those BYOTs, so they did something right, even tho I agree most BYOTs are crap.

Don't get me wrong, I don't know your business model nor I intend to teach you how to do things, I just think that other as "just to add to portfolio" designs, you won't get a lot of interest and the tours you'll get will be really crappy, which makes the move pretty useless.
