Money is fine, but it's not the prime consideration... and $360K ish/year net before tax is OK for any small team or individual in the adult biz on the net - and sure above the "average webmaster" earnings.
Couple of other factors - there are plenty more ways to earn far more than that for less work than is required of an adult webmaster. Other point is - it's even better in a scenario where there are no taxes involved.

More often than not, - making shit work does turn in dollars as a secondary benefit.
After a level, there is little interest in running around malls trying to spend money - gimme a fresh coffee, cigar and some new ideas and I'm happy - send somebody else to the mall to waste time on crap
