Very hard.

The easiest site to grow these days are Thumb MGPs, I've known of sites that grew to 500k in 5 days with the right knowledge and feeder traffic to get it moving...

thats what I figured,

i cant think of any *new* text tgps that have really taken off

ya, it's fair to say you would need to be in bed with some other text tgp owners. reasonably so, those guys are pretty hard to get a hold of and quite cautious of whom they trade with, or help out. you have to imagine that submitters have been on their nuts for years, to get partner accounts.... help their new tgp's.... whatever

i wouldn't answer my icq's and e-mails either.

Why does a text TGP have to trade only with a text TGP? If you have a text TGP with consistent quality traffic I'd think anyone would be happy to trade with you.

Well for starters, a TGP is not a always a TGP anymore. People now combine a TGP with a Circle Jerk Trade Script, Thus Blind Links are used for the trade.
Thumb TGP people get poor results back from the trades with the TEXT tgp's, becaue the people are expecting gallery when they click the thumb..

Back to main focus of thread... YES, you can make a TGP and be the hun
with the proper care and focus and of course deep pockets don't hurt.. It doesnt happen overnite... People make the mistake of making a TGP for a quick buck... Look at it in long term, spend time and time nad money and money and earn the respect of surfers and well, its harder today because of the submit problem.... Open the doors for submits and you will get fucked by the scanners, close and offer partners and you will get scammers and FHG's submitted... Charge for submit accounts and youll have about 10 submitters if you have traffic, with no traffic you will have zero...

That about thumbs it up!

I understand what you are saying but with the new 2257 if they are what was proposed last summer I think you will see quite a few thumb preview tgps revert back to text links.
