PRODUCER-PBTV
Under the direction of the Director of TV Production, Playboy TV Networks, this position is accountable for supervising, budgeting, coordinating, and providing creative input into various live and taped productions. This position interacts within the Entertainment Group internally and with our joint venture partners and other entertainment personnel externally.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Produce a variety of series, specials and live programming for Playboy TV and the other Playboy networks.
2. Ensure that Playboy TV standards are adhered to in all productions.
3. Meet all deadlines for delivery to various departments in the entertainment group.
4. Oversee any freelance or contracted labor.
5. Oversee outside contracted production entities for shows. (Ex. Naughty Amateur Home Videos)
6. In collaboration with Playboy TV and its joint venture partners, coordinate ideas, schedules and creative input for various segments and shows.
7. Assist with testing of development projects.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree in Communications, or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of creative and production experience required. Strong writing and creative skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills and budgeting expertise are a must. Should be familiar with all aspects of production including video editing techniques. Live-action experience is a plus. Must have experience working with talent and be able to adapt to rapidly changing production environments. Understanding of and/or experience in adult entertainment is a plus, but is not a prerequisite. Experience with live programming and talk, magazine, and game formats are also pluses.
