Hotel heiress PARIS HILTON insists she's more intelligent than people think - she just doesn't like to show it.
The blonde beauty believes her image as a vapid party girl is completely unfair, as she's always been proud of her classroom achievements.
She says, "I'm a lot smarter than most people think. I always got good grades in school, I was all As. I'm smart, I just don't like to show it. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm blonde, and I think it's cuter and sweet.".
Hilton, who recently broke off her friendship with lifelong pal NICOLE RICHIE, also wants to stamp out another misconception - that she's a horrible person.
She adds, "I'm not my fault that I was born with this. I thank God and I'm lucky, and I help people and I give money away, and I do a lot of things for people.
"I realise I'm lucky - and people shouldn't hate me for that. They should hate me if I'm a bad person and mean to people. But I'm so sweet. I'm too nice."
