there are a lot of great, original films out there, but the problem is they seldomly make it to theaters...theater chains are now owned by a handful of large companies who only care about packing as many people into a theater is possible and could give a shit about quality, originality or even comfort (have you seen the size of some of these theaters? I have a bigger screen with my HDTV than some theaters seem to have these days).
Don't be afraid to look beyond your borders for good movies. There are a ton of great, original moves for those who aren't afraid to read subtitles...Comment
