So today i went looking for domains with PR and saw that this one site was dropped. I think it was some irish rock band site or something. But alexa showed it was getting 80k. haha, funny shit eh?

Alexa is showing alternate sites for those domains. The domains likely rediected to the sites showing last time alexa crawled. I had the same problem with my alexa checking script when I first wrote it... pay attention to the domain lsted next to "Traffic Rank for..."Comment

Yes, i see what you'r saying. So if i direct my domain to a site then alexa will show thats sites traffic? Damn how stupid is that. Well not too worried, i will just add them to my new SE matrix project. But check out that site, it may have some domains with traffic.
I have also noticed that if a domain is blacklisted or have PR on google; right after it has been deleted/droped the blacklist/PR comes off. (however the domain is still listed on google, so some traffic still comes from it) Is this true?Last edited by xlogger; 05-18-2005, 11:12 PM.Comment
