The human race is in plague proportions. most of the endangered species are actually food sources for the local humans. Eg: An afghan goat is considered an endangered species but goes well on a spit roast.
Cockroach and rats may not survive a nuclear holocaust unlike humans as humans inhabit the ends of the earth the north pole and deserts.
