One point to note with them is that you need to make sure they get lots of exercise as without it they can tend to get very frustrated and unhappy, and make sure you spend some time on obedience training while they are young because collies need a firm hand or they can end up owning you. |
I have had a few dogs in my past, and have always taken pride in having them be well disciplined.
It is an excuse to make sure I get some daily walking in myself. Besides, there is a nice dog park up the road that always seems to have some cute bitches with their bitches. Will give me a reason to stop by now.
Besides, collies like to work, so he can work at getting me some new prospects.
