That's weird, he looks identical to the first dog I ever owned. Was a bitch runt, didn't think she'd live very long, she ended up being the biggest dog of the litter and lasted the longest too (15 years). Was the best snake dog you could imagine, she killed at least thirty or so snakes in her lifetime. She got bit a few times by some of the venomous ones, only once did it make her so sick that she had to recoup for a few hours (was a baby rattler). Man that was a great dog.

If I'm not mistaken youv'e got yourself a Collie cross there. Had Collies all my life and they are superb dogs
One point to note with them is that you need to make sure they get lots of exercise as without it they can tend to get very frustrated and unhappy, and make sure you spend some time on obedience training while they are young because collies need a firm hand or they can end up owning you.Laughing Out LoudComment

Not necessarily, my dog has similar coloring but doesn't have a drop of collie in him. It is an excuse to make sure I get some daily walking in myself. Besides, there is a nice dog park up the road that always seems to have some cute bitches with their bitches. Will give me a reason to stop by now.
