Thermite can be loaded and used as a catalyzing factor to compound the events. One of many to ensure the WTC's collapse. Too bad the debris was quickly carted off to China before any investigation can reveal molten metal pieces for inspection. Gubment couldn't have any of that now, couldn't they....
There are multiple inconvenient facts (that debaters here keep 'conveniently' ignoring) that point overwhelmingly in only one direction.

Thermite is a plausable explanation backed by video footage.
