Have to say I have a LOT more respect for the guy now than before. Sure he fought dirty to get his seat but then no more so than the parties did to get elected. They're also happy to bullshit and pander to the biggest voting blocks without having any true sympathy for the causes they pander too. That's politics unfortunately.

A comment from Paxman on newsnight 2 mins ago....'after they found him guilty without ever having given him a trial' Even Paxman doesn't totally dislike the guy it seems.

i think you can dislike someone but still think what the position they are in at a moment is just as unsavoury.

True enough. Dislike was a bad choice of words.

Even if it meant a parliament of people with whom I usually disagree, I would rather have a parliament filled with George Galloway's and Ken Livingston's than with the usual anonymous party hacks. It's a pity there will never be more than one or two at a time, because they just might be able to stir up enough interest in politics to make democracy work again...

There's many who would disagree with you on that point too. I'll add that I'm not one of them - I've always quite liked the guy.

Now Livingston I like..he is like a less mental Galloway and for the record I like London in his control. I voted for him for mayor twice and will do it every time I get the chance.

He was a tad less....'stable' many moons ago under the GLC when he actually had power (let's be honest the mayor has very, very little and is more a figure head than anything else). I even liked him back then though. Maybe I'm just drawn to the more outspoken politicians

They dont exist, the only ones that exist are made up by liars, known Criminals and Friends and prisoners of the U.S, thats why they wont be showing them in a hurry

I dont like the guy as it happens, but I bet by the end of this trial, the only thing to come out of it, is that the dishonesty and lack of justice that has over run the whight house is now spreading through the U.S legal system.
